As Trouw B.V. is specialised in the processing of all kinds of gluten free raw materials, we are able to guarantee gluten free deliveries of all our products. Special requests for private label gluten free mixes or flours is one of our specialties. We have very close relationships with our raw material suppliers, who we educated how to handle our goods. After we import directly from the farmers, we store the raw material in our warehouses in The Netherlands. We carefully clean and analyse all batches before processing in our production.

Food safety, quality, product integrity and the operation of an effective Quality Management System are essential requirements within the food industry. As a specialist in allergy friendly products it is important to have a dedicated quality department. As such, we are committed to the supply of safe, legal and trusted products and are certified for the FSSC 22000.
Product development
When developing new products we like to work closely with our customers. We invite customers and prospects, so that we can brainstorm and experiment with new products. We enjoy a challenge and like to develop new food varieties as healthy alternatives in combination with inventive packaging solutions. With our customers we define the basic objectives and together we develop something new.
The basics for our development is to aim for innovative ideas such as high protein, reduced sugar, vegan, high fiber and reduced salt but always with good taste.

The company was already established as a mill for buckwheat in 1702 and since 1896 we became known under the name Trouw. Nowadays the company is a modern, dedicated to gluten free processing, industrial mill. Next to buckwheat, we are supplying a wide range of all kinds of (gluten free) processed food ingredients to our customers worldwide.

Within our product range we offer single flours, baking-mixtures, different kind of flakes, broken, roasted or puffed ingredients. All made of buckwheat or other (naturally gluten free) commodities, such as pulses, gluten free grains and seeds.
Although our entire production is dedicated to gluten free processing we are also supplying our products to customers without the need of gluten free or allergy friendly demand.
Since many years we are offering our product range in conventional as well as in certified organic quality.
